Use this Year 5 The First Quadrant Fluency Matrix resource to allow your class to secure their skills when working with coordinates in the first quadrant.

There are six questions which build gradually in difficulty, from choosing the correct coordinates to writing them independently and then plotting them. In the final questions, they plot points to complete specific shapes and then write their coordinates.

An answer sheet is included to help teachers and pupils who are marking their own work.
