This Year 5 Word Classes Teaching PPT will guide you step by step through identifying and then understanding the function of nouns, adjectives and verbs.

The presentation covers different types of noun and different types of verb. It explains where to find adjectives in a sentence and how they add interest. Lastly, pupils learn that some words can be used as both nouns and verbs. The questions presented throughout will keep children engaged and give you the chance to explain common misconceptions.
