This Area of a Triangle – Counting Squares mixed activity resource covers fluency, reasoning and problem solving skills. It provides three fluency, two reasoning and one problem solving. It offers a range of different question types to help children practise the skills of estimating the area of a triangle by counting squares. Children can use their prior learning and knowledge of shapes and area to answer the questions. Ideal to be used after the main input. Alongside, an engaging activity we've included the answers too.
