Use this Year 6 Avoiding Repetition in Fiction Prior Learning worksheet to prepare children for the Avoiding Repetition in Fiction main learning. This activity revisits personal, possessive and relative pronouns and relative clauses. With three fluency, one reasoning and two application questions, children can refresh their knowledge of these features before using them in their own writing.

This worksheet could be used individually or in small groups of children with support. It could also be used as an intervention. A useful answer sheet is also included to make marking quicker and easier.
