This Year 6 Form Expressions reasoning and problem solving resource will support children in applying their simple algebra skills. We've created two different problem solving style questions and one reasoning style question with two of each question per worksheet for your class to flex their forming expressions muscles! This resource has been differentiated three ways and below is a brief outline as to how each level of challenge differs to ensure a range of learners needs are catered for.

Developing: Questions to support one-step problems using addition and multiplication.

Expected: Questions to support multi-step problems using all four operations.

Greater Depth: Questions to support multi-step problems using all four operations and decimal numbers.

This resource could be completed independently in class or in intervention groups to either support or further challenge understanding. A handy answer sheet is provided for ease of marking too!
