This Year 6 Formulae Varied Fluency worksheet will help children understand how to substitute values into a formula to calculate an answer. Children will start by identifying what makes a calculation, a formula or an expression, then move on to calculating using formulae that they already be familiar with to calculate the perimeter of a square and the area of a rectangle. Finally, they will use formulae for real-life contexts to calculate values. All answers are given so that marking is as simple as possible!

Note: the 'a' column uses whole numbers and the 'b' column introduces decimals and fractions.
