This Year 6 Paragraphs in Non-Fiction Mixed Activity worksheet allows children to put into practice what they have learnt about using paragraphs in a piece of non-fiction writing. This activity provides two pieces of non-fiction text: one about the Shang Dynasty and the other about British schools. There are three varied fluency questions, one reasoning and two application questions on features of these texts such as a table, subheadings and how to link paragraphs.

Children can complete this activity independently, in small groups or in pairs. There is also a useful answer sheet provided to make marking quick and easy.
