This Year 6 Position and Direction Mistake Investigators includes a range of reasoning and problem-solving style questions that are similar to questions children could encounter on their SATs papers. The questions are designed to be answered in groups to promote discussion and development of reasoning skills.

The questions cover two position and direction objectives: draw and translate simple shapes on the coordinate plane, and reflect them in the axes, and; positions on the full coordinate grid (all four quadrants). Eight questions are included, set to A5 so that mistakes using gridlines can be investigated clearly.

If you're looking for something that will help your children develop their skills and help them to become more investigative learners, you're in the right place.
