In this writing task children are asked to use question tags within statements for what the people who are pictured might say to you.

This Year 6 Question Tags in Informal Speech and Writing Application worksheet would be a great assessment tool as children use what they know about question tags and apply it to their writing. This activity can be completed independently but could also be used as a discussion point for small groups or interventions.

The worksheet comes with a model answer which can be shared with the children as a good example or to aid your marking.
