This Year 6 The Penicillin Diaries Reader's Theatre pack includes a range of activities to help your children develop their fluency in reading. The resource pack is made up of a Reading Fluency pack for children, a Reader's Theatre Teaching PowerPoint for modelling, and a miscue analysis intervention.

A timetable has been provided and you can model fluency and expression through repeated oral reading. Watch your children progress across the week as they begin to internalise the text, develop expression and understand tone and volume.

A close reading exercise is provided within this pack, which questions children's understanding of how tone and expression effect the text, a phrase-marking sheet encourages children to add their own expression to the text, and a feedback rubric to get children visualising the progress they've had across the week.
