National Curriculum Objectives
Mathematics Year 2: (2N2a) Read and write numbers to at least 100 in numerals and in words

​Mathematics Year 5: (5N2) Read, write, order and compare numbers to at least 1 000 000 and determine the value of each digit

Differentiation:

Beginner Write numbers in words up to 50. Aimed at Year 1 Mastery/Year 2 Developing.

Easy Write numbers in words up to 100. Aimed at Year 2 Secure/Year 3 Emerging.

Tricky Write numbers in words up to 1000 (multiples of ten). Aimed at Year 2 Master​y/Year 3 Developing​.

Expert Write numbers in words up to 1000. Aimed at Year 3 Secure.​

Brainbox Write numbers in words up to 10,000. Aimed at Year 3 Mastery/Year 5 Emerging.​

Genius Write numbers in words up to 100,000. Aimed at Year 5 Developing/Year 6 Emerging.
