Developing Questions to support the correct use of ‘s’ suffix to singular nouns to create their plural form. All words phonetically decodable with some taken from the Year 1 spelling list.
Expected Questions to support the correct use of ‘s’ and ‘es’ suffixes to singular nouns to create their plural form. Most words phonetically decodable with some taken from the Year 1 and 2 spelling lists.
Greater Depth Questions to support the correct use of ‘s’ and ‘es’ suffixes to singular nouns to create their plural form. Most words cannot be easily decoded. Some questions use exceptions to rules where the word remains the same or changes completely, such as sheep or mice.
