Pictograms Lesson

This Year 3 Pictograms lesson covers the prior learning of drawing pictograms and interpreting pictograms, before moving onto the main skill of reading and interpreting information within a pictogram.

The lesson starts with a prior learning worksheet to check pupils’ understanding. If they need more practice, you can choose other resources for the step here and here. . The interactive lesson slides recap the prior learning before moving on to the main skill. Children can then practise further by completing the activities and can extend their learning by completing an engaging extension task.
