This Balancing Number Sentences KS1 Reasoning Test Practice is based on a question from the KS1 reasoning paper from 2018. It provides children with the opportunity to practise SATs-style questions and has been differentiated four ways. The resource focuses on balancing number sentences using addition, subtraction, multiplication, and, in the more challenging worksheet, division.   • Recognise and use the inverse relationship between addition and subtraction and use this to check calculations and missing number problems
  • Solve problems involving multiplication and division, using materials, arrays, repeated addition, mental methods, and multiplication and division facts, including problems in contexts
