After all the children’s hard work drawing inspiration from the book, it is now time for them to produce an amazing piece of writing. First, take some time to pull together what they have learnt and give them the chance to practise writing an amazing sentence to include in their writing. Key areas of focus are provided to help guide pupils as well as a word bank to promote a rich vocabulary.

There is a version of these worksheets included in our teaching PowerPoint too. This could be displayed on the working wall and added to over the course of the lessons.
