After all the children’s hard work drawing inspiration from the book 'Toby and the Great Fire of London', it is now time for them to plan a brilliant piece of writing with this activity. First, take some time to pull together what they have learnt and allow them to practise writing some high-quality sentences to include in their own writing. There are key areas of focus provided to help guide them, as well as a word bank to promote a rich vocabulary.

There is a version of these worksheets included in our teaching PowerPoint and these could be displayed on the working wall and added to over the course of the lessons.
