What’s included in the Year 1 20, 30, 40 and 50 Homework resource and why is it useful?

Year 1 20, 30, 40 and 50 Homework is a worksheet to consolidate this step after it has been taught, at home or in class. The content includes two varied fluency questions, one problem solving question and a full answer sheet, covering recognising 20, 30, 40 and 50 by matching representations to number words and completing part-whole models.

Expected

  • Q1 matching five representations of tens to the numbers ten, twenty, thirty, forty and fifty written in words.
  • Q2 completing three part-whole models where the parts are shown as bundles of ten.
  • Q3 making three numbers using all of a set of bundles of ten and finding two possible answers.

How do our maths homework resources work?

Our maths homework resources are not part of our adaptive maths resources, but they can be used alongside for consolidation purposes and to give children more opportunities to practise.
