This Year 1 Autumn 2 Week 4 Maths in Minutes resource is designed to help you consolidate previously taught maths objectives with your class to keep the knowledge fresh in their minds.
It can be displayed on an interactive whiteboard and used in a variety of ways, for example as early morning work or as an introductory activity at the beginning of a lesson.
There are three sets of questions. Each set has three questions made up of one number/calculation, one geometry and one measure. The worksheets are visual and engaging and they're perfect for children to access independently. There's also an answer page to encourage peer and self marking!
Curriculum Objectives
- Count in multiples of twos, fives and tens
- Read and write numbers from 1 to 20 in numerals and words
- Represent and use number bonds and related subtraction facts within 20
- Solve one-step problems that involve addition and subtraction, using concrete objects and pictorial representations, and missing number problems such as 7 = __ 9
- Recognise and name common 2-D shapes [for example, rectangles (including squares), circles and triangles]
- Recognise and name common 3-D shapes [for example, cuboids (including cubes), pyramids and spheres]
