Our Year 1 Finding the Difference Reasoning and Problem Solving resource is just what you need. This resource has three levels of differentiated to offer challenge and choice within your classroom. This means, that each worksheet includes two different problem-solving style questions and a reasoning style question. We've given you two of each question style to help children build confidence in answering a variety of questions.

Use in class as an independent activity following your teaching input, and a set of varied fluency questions (also available to download in this lesson). Alternatively, work through these questions as an adult-led activity in a small group setting or use with manipulatives in your provision areas. We've included an answer page, so you can mark on the go or use this to introduce peer or self assessment into your classroom.
