A fun and engaging game in which children use number cards to race against each other and order the numbers correctly. Designed to develop knowledge of place value to 20, this Year 1 Order Numbers activity comes with clear and concise instructions, ensuring everyone knows exactly what they are doing. We recommend this activity to be completed in groups of 3 however further players can be added if required.

Curriculum Objectives

  • Read and write numbers from 1 to 20 in numerals and words
  • Identify and represent numbers using objects and pictorial representations including the number line, and use the language of: equal to, more than, less than (fewer), most, least
  • Compare and order numbers from 0 up to 100; use <, > and = signs
