Looking for a practical activity for children to practise their place value knowledge? Our Year 1 Order Groups of Objects Supporting Activity will be perfect for you. This resource explains how to set up an activity in provision or in your lesson. Children will put amounts of counters on paper plates and arrange the plates in ascending or descending order.
This activity is perfect for group work. It could even be used as an intervention or a pre-teach; the choice is yours!
