Give this Year 1 Order Groups of Objects Main Activity to your children to provide independent practice. Children will complete six sequences where objects are ordered from smallest to greatest or greatest to smallest. They will draw groups of objects within 20 to ensure each sequence is correct.
The simple layout and repetitive nature of this task means that this is ideal for independent work. Use after your main teaching input so children can practise their place value skills.
