Use this Year 1 Single Nouns Application and Reasoning worksheet to encourage children to use their knowledge and understanding of singular nouns when applying them to application and reasoning questions. There are two application questions and one reasoning question to allow your children to show their understanding of single nouns.

The worksheet has been differentiated three ways and is therefore suitable for all your children's needs. You can use this worksheet alongside the modelling PPT which has a range of model questions linked to this worksheet.

The worksheet can be completed independently, in pairs or with adult support. An answer sheet is also provided to save you time.
