This engaging Y1 Single Nouns Modelling PPT has been designed to provide children with a range of sample questions designed to support their understanding of what a single noun is by identifying, matching and writing them correctly. This PPT links to our Year 1 Single Nouns worksheets.

This resource can be used as a teaching tool to introduce pupils to a range of varied fluency, reasoning or application questions, either with your whole class or with small groups of children. Modelled answers are also included as good examples for children to discuss. You could also use this resource to informally assess pupils' understanding before they commence their independent work.
