This Year 3 Consolidating Prefixes Application resource will give children the chance to write a piece of writing using words with prefixes.

They must think of words that use specific prefixes to modify root words, then use these words to write a story of 100 words or less. Ensure children understand the meaning of their new words by providing dictionaries for this activity. An answer sheet is provided for you to show your class an example of what a good response might look like.
