This Year 3 Paragraphs in Narrative Application activity allows your children to put into practice what they have learnt about writing paragraphs. This activity provides the start of a written passage and children are asked to write at least two paragraphs for the ending using adjectives, conjunctions and speech. Pupils are also encouraged to think about starting a new paragraph when the time, location, characters or mood changes.

Children can complete this activity independently, in pairs or with adult support. We have also provided a model answer for you to either share with your pupils as a good example or to aid your marking.
