What’s included in the Year 4 Sound 5-Minute Science resource and why is it useful?

Year 4 Sound 5-Minute Science is a set of three revision worksheets covering the whole topic of sound. These have been designed to give your children up to three opportunities to engage in deliberate practice outside of the teaching of the topic. This resource covers how sounds are made by something vibrating, how vibrations travel through a medium to the ear, the parts of the ear, patterns between the pitch of a sound and the object that produced it, patterns between volume and the strength of the vibrations, and how sounds get fainter with distance.

As these resources are designed for re-cap and revision, you could use 5 Minute Science resources during the topic for early morning work, towards the end of the topic or even later in the year as a re-cap.
