What’s included in the Year 6 Light 5-Minute Science resource and why is it useful?

Year 6 Light 5-Minute Science is a set of three revision worksheets covering the whole topic of light. These have been designed to give your children up to three opportunities to engage in deliberate practice outside of the teaching of the topic. This resource covers light travelling in straight lines, why we see objects that give out or reflect light, the path light takes from a source to the eye, the parts of the eye, and why shadows have the same shape as the object that casts them.

As these resources are designed for re-cap and revision, you could use 5 Minute Science resources during the topic for early morning work, towards the end of the topic or even later in the year as a re-cap.
