This Year 5 Using Devices to Build Cohesion worksheet provides differentiated varied fluency questions along with answers. It will challenge your children to recognise and use cohesive devices within paragraphs.

It covers a range of cohesive devices such as expanded noun phrases, adverbials, relative clauses, dashes and brackets for parenthesis and relative pronouns.

This differentiated worksheet allows you to provide children with the correct level of challenge and can be completed independently, in pairs or with adult support.
