Deepen understanding of how to calculate angles in triangles by using this resource.
This Year 6 Angles in Triangles Reasoning and Problem Solving worksheet helps children use the knowledge that all angles in a triangle add to 180 degrees to calculate the value of missing angles by using known facts about the four types of triangle (equilateral, isosceles, right-angled and scalene). Children will reason if a triangle has been identified correctly based on angle facts, find pairs of angles that will satisfy a problem involving missing angles in triangles and identify which triangle has a given angle based on known properties. All answers are also included so that marking is as easy as possible!
A varied fluency resource and fluency matrix are also available for this small step.
