With this differentiated Year 6 Formal and Informal Vocabulary homework resource, you can give your children extra practise recognising and using language that is typical of formal speech or appropriate for formal speech and writing. Differentiated to three levels of challenge, learners see formal and informal language in sentences with single clauses and sentences with multiple clauses.

This resource is perfect for use in class after our modelling PPT, VF and AR resources, but can also be sent out as homework - how you use it is up to you. A handy answer sheet is also featured to make your marking as easy as possible. You could even encourage peer or self marking as our answer sheets are written in a clear and concise way that is accessible by all.
