Explore the world of punctuation with this Year 6 Using Colons and Semi-Colons Mixed Activity worksheet. With three varied fluency, one application and two reasoning questions, there is something for everyone to access. Children are asked to identify where colons and semi-colons should be in given sentences, identify an incorrectly punctuated sentence and rewrite a sentence with colons and semi-colons. All sentences contain lists that require punctuating with colons and semi-colons.

This engaging mixed activity worksheet would be suitable for use as an independent activity but could be used as part of small group work or interventions. A useful answer sheet is provided to make marking quick and easy.
