This Year 1 Order Numbers to 20 Teaching PPT introduces children to the key skills and understanding needed to order numbers to 20. Pupils will learn how to order three numbers using the greatest and smallest numbers as references.

The presentation is structured into Let’s Learn sections, where new concepts and vocabulary are clearly modelled, and Let’s Practise sections, where children can apply their understanding straight away through short, engaging activities.

To build confidence and deepen understanding, the PPT also includes reasoning and problem-solving questions, encouraging pupils to use their knowledge in different contexts.

The final slide provides links to extra resources to extend learning further - don’t forget to explore them!
