This Year 1 suffixes 'ing', 'ed' and 'er' worksheet gets children choosing the most appropriate suffix to complete a given sentence. They will add suffixes to a root word and finally rewrite sentences with the correct use of suffixes.

Children can complete this activity independently, in pairs or with adult support. The answer sheet is provided in a child-friendly way to allow self or peer marking, saving you time.
