Take a look at this Year 1 suffixes ‘ing’, ‘ed’ and ‘er’ activity which provides two varied fluency questions and one reasoning question. It gives children the opportunity to compare these different suffixes and how they change the meaning of the root word. This worksheet has spaces for children to write their answers and the answer sheet is laid out in the same way to make marking simple.
