Put children's understanding of place value to the ultimate test with our Year 1 The Number Line to 50 Discussion Problem. Children will investigate the different number lines that can be created using the clues. We've included a blank number line as a starting point and also plenty of space below the question for children to draw their own number lines.

A ruler may be required so children can draw their own number lines. Use this activity as an extension or as an intervention with your most able pupils.
