Year 1 Understand 14, 15 and 16 is a great resource for recognising different representations of some of the teens numbers. Children will use straws, tens frames and numicon, as well as other manipulatives to calculate different representations as well as match numbers to images.

This worksheet can be used alone or alongside concrete resources so that children have the opportunity to replicate what they can see.
