Our Year 2 Mathematics Non-Negotiables Activity Pack is a brilliant resource to use at various points during the year to check children's progress against several strands. This number, calculations, time and fractions mixed assessment includes a range of question styles. The topics chosen in this pack are areas that come up throughout the maths curriculum across the primary age range, making the questions and skills involved a great stepping stone into the next year group's learning. The pack consists of a teacher's guidance page, a list of end-of-year expectations for Year 2, eight pages of questions based on the expectations and answer sheets.

Use this as part of your in-house assessments to show progress against key mathematical skills. Ideal for an independent task. It can inform you of any gaps in children's learning and where an intervention might be useful. It can also be a great tool to inform discussions with parents to show how well their child is progressing.
