This Year 4 Fronted Adverbials in Paragraphs Application activity allows your children to put into practice what they have learnt about different types of fronted adverbials. This activity provides an image as a stimulus for their writing and several criteria about the different types of fronted adverbials they should use in each paragraph.

Children can complete this activity independently, in pairs or with adult support. We have also provided an answer sheet to assist your marking, or you could choose to share it with your pupils as a good example.
