Give yourself a head start with the planning of GPS for the autumn term when you download this Year 6 Ready to Write Unit Plan.

This guidance document provides teaching staff with a breakdown of objectives into smaller steps that can be revisited from previous year groups before moving on to the new learning for the year. This is designed to be taught at the start of Year 6 but has the flexibility to be used at any time during the year.

Each of the small steps comes with notes and guidance for support as well as a set of focused questions to help get you started with your class. Resources are available to support this lesson, including teaching resources, worksheets and much more!
