This Year 6 Subjunctive Form in Formal Speech and Writing Teaching PPT explores the complexities of the subjunctive form and how we use this to create a tone in writing. Using a range of examples, the teaching sequence begins by looking at what the subjunctive form is and how it is used. The teaching then moves on to look at how verbs are impacted by the subjunctive form, again with examples for support.

This teaching PowerPoint is an excellent resource to use with your whole class to introduce suing the subjunctive form. It could however, also be used as part of group work or interventions.
