Challenge your children's knowledge and understanding of cohesive devices with this Year 5 Using Devices to Build Cohesion Application worksheet. Children are given the opportunity to apply their knowledge of cohesive devices when writing a paragraph based on a given image.

This worksheet would be a great assessment tool as children are asked to colour code particular devices they have used within their writing. To be used independently but could be used as a discussion point for small groups or interventions.
