This Year 6 Identifying Verbs in Sentences Homework Resource is perfect to send home as homework to embed children's learning or to use as an extension activity in class. It focuses on identifying the correct verb tense, identifying sentences which contain linking and action verbs and replacing verbs with antonyms to change the meaning of the sentence.

This worksheet reinforces children's learning through two varied fluency questions and one application question and has been differentiated three ways to ensure all your children can access the learning. The answers are also provided to make marking quicker and simpler.
