This Reading Skills resource contains a range of questions about Chapter 1 Part 1 from ‘You Are a Champion’ by Marcus Rashford and Carl Anka. The questions are organised into content domains to allow a focus on one or more specific skills.

Alongside questions for more in-depth written answer practice, this resource has been organised in two different ways to give teachers flexibility with the way the text is covered.

• Teaching Approach A: This section contains questions covering the whole text.
• Teaching Approach B: Questions in this section are the same as in Teaching Approach A, but are organised into several smaller groups. Each group of questions is focused on a smaller part of the text to allow the text to be covered in sections over time.
