Varied Fluency
Developing Questions to support using was, were, did and done within simple sentences.
Expected Questions to support using was, were, did and done within sentences of varying length. Words are taken from the Year 3 and Year 4 spelling lists.
Greater Depth Questions to support using was, were, did and done within multi-clause sentences. Some words taken from the year 5 spelling list and sentences may use multiple examples of each verb.

Application and Reasoning
Questions 1, 4 and 7 (Application)
Developing Create a simple sentence from given words using was, were, did and done correctly. Word bank provided.
Expected Create a sentence from given words using was, were, did and done correctly. Words are taken from the Year 3 and Year 4 spelling lists.
Greater Depth Create a paragraph about a given image using was, were, did and done correctly.

Questions 2, 5 and 8 (Reasoning)
Developing Explain whether a sentence is written in Standard English. Simple sentences containing one example of was, were, did and done.
Expected Explain whether a sentence is written in Standard English. Sentences containing more than one example of was, were, did and done, with words taken from the Year 3 and Year 4 spelling lists.
