This Year 6 Mental Calculations IWB Activity includes three questions to check pupils' understanding of how to use efficient strategies to solve calculations mentally. Pupils will use mental strategies to estimate the solution to a problem; choose the most efficient, from a variety of methods, to solve calculations mentally and rearrange the numbers within a calculation to demonstrate their understanding of using efficient strategies and use this to calculate answers.
