This Year 6 SSM Volume - Counting Cubes IWB Activity checks pupils' understanding of volume as the space occupied by a 3D object and will calculate this by counting cubic units. Children will sort 3D shapes based on their volume, decided if a statement about a 3D shape's volume is true or false, and identify the incorrect statment based on the volume of different 3D shapes.
